This is a special recipe used by Gael’s father. We make it in LaHave for an entire
month in the winter from scratch. Each batch uses 30 seville oranges, 20 lemons and
12 sweet navel oranges and takes three days on the stove. The only pectin comes
from the citrus pips and peel. The smell in the building is beyond compare. You can
taste the difference in every jar!
Ingredients: seville oranges, lemons, navel oranges, cane sugar, scotch whiskey.
